Grab Your Key and Unlock Your Destiny!

On this eve of the New Year there are many things I have been reflecting upon. There are so many thoughts and memories of 2020. It has been such a unique season and time for all of humanity. The experiences of this past year can lead you down two different paths. One of fear, worry, anxiety; wanting to shut the world out and live in a bubble. And one of determination, endurance and courage, a path that creates a wide open space to grasp at your destiny and walk in who YOU were created to be at this specific time in history.

When we think about this specific season in history, six days ago a Savior was born. Before the Savior could be born, Mary had to say ,“Yes!” Yes to trusting the Lord, Yes to sacrificing her body and potentially her life and reputation. She didn’t know the full vision or plan the Lord had. She did know that she trusted the Lord with ALL that she had and that He always proves to be good & faithful. He always has the best way! The first step to grabbing your key to unlock your destiny is to spend time with the Lord, seeking Him. And in seeking Him you will reveal your destiny, your divinely created purpose for this specific time. Trust is the second step. Trust encompasses surrender, obedience, and hope. Surrender refers to a life laid down (your “control” transfers to God’s plans & purposes). Obedience refers to listening to the plans no matter how big or small and walking them out (putting your “yes” on the table). And finally, Hope. Hope is the anchor. “We have a certain hope like a strong, unbreakable anchor holding our souls to God himself.” Hebrews 6:19 TPT

In this time when you might feel like the atmosphere and culture we are living in is covered in dark clouds of hopelessness, this is the time to ARISE and step out. Dig in deep. Spend time seeking the Creator and gathering your divinely created plans. Build your “trust muscles” by putting your “yes” on the table. And HOPE, always Hope. “Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him.” Romans 15:13 TPT - PEACE AS YOU TRUST IN HIM!
